Gardens by the Bay is returning its annual Sakura Matsuri event this year on 1 March.
This year’s event will also feature the beloved Sanrio character, Hello Kitty, at a new Sakura Floral Display.
In addition, visitors can walk through torii, a traditional Japanese gate which can be considered a distinctive Japanese landmark.
Here’s how the torii from last year looked like:
The display at the Flower Field features tancho (Japanese red-crown cranes), sakura (cherry blossoms), and momo (peach blossoms).
Due to Covid-19 safety regulations, the onsite ticketing counters at Gardens by the Bay will not open. All visitors have to pre-book their visit date and time. Visitors are allowed up to one hour in each conservatory.
