Paradise Dynasty has introduced a new limited-time xiao long bao in collaboration with Korean BBQ restaurant O.BBA, bringing together elements of Chinese dumpling making and Korean barbecue in a single dish.
Brand New Korean BBQ Xiao Long Bang
The new Korean BBQ Hanwoo Beef Xiao Long Bao uses premium Hanwoo beef, an ingredient known for its marbling and tenderness. Before being wrapped, the beef is lightly grilled, giving the filling a subtle smoky note that sets it apart from more traditional xiao long bao flavours.
While the flavour profile is new, the dumpling itself stays close to Paradise Dynasty’s signature style. Each piece is handcrafted with 18 folds and contains a spoonful of broth sealed within the skin, keeping the familiar soup dumpling experience intact.
The launch reflects a broader interest in cross-cultural menu ideas, especially when familiar formats are paired with ingredients or techniques from another cuisine. In this case, the combination of grilled Hanwoo beef and xiao long bao offers a different take on a well-known dish without moving too far away from what diners already enjoy.
