Singapore just got a new immersive art spot and it is not your typical museum. IMBA Theatre at Gardens by the Bay throws you straight into a 20,000 square foot air conditioned space where art moves around you, surrounds you and honestly feels a bit like a movie.
An immersive art space
IMBA Theatre combines digital projection, sound and physical artwork into one experience. The main highlight is a massive projection hall where visuals move across towering walls, paired with music that pulls you right into the moment.
Instead of just looking at art, you are basically inside it.
Think of it as a mix between a gallery and a movie. You move through different spaces, from artworks to full projection rooms, and the visuals keep things engaging throughout.
