Summer Fields Tea Set
The Singapore EDITION afternoon tea includes both savoury and sweet items. It leans towards modern plated bites instead of traditional afternoon tea staples. The savoury selection includes classic sandwiches, crab tartlet, prawn cannoli and beef tartare roll. This gives the set a more refined feel.
The sweets stand out more. You get scones with clotted cream, along with pastries built around fruit, floral and nutty flavours. These include passion fruit and raspberry, matcha and hibiscus, and hazelnut with caramel.
The set ends with a tableside affogato. It features pineapple mint sorbet, jasmine jelly and tropical fruits. This lighter finish suits Singapore’s weather better than heavier desserts.
