Sesame Street Is Taking Over Marina Square With Giant Inflatables, Chalk Walls, Ball Pits And Mini Golf This June

Written by Kelly Khor

Sesame Street is getting a massive art world makeover at Marina Square this June.

From 5 to 28 June 2026, SESAME STREET MAGICAL ART WORLD will make its Southeast Asian debut at Marina Square Atrium. Expect giant inflatable sculptures, interactive play zones, exclusive merchandise and colourful photo spots across the atrium.

Think Sesame Street mixed with contemporary art, designer toys and giant inflatable characters.

Six Giant Inflatable Sculptures Will Take Over The Atrium

The biggest visual draw here is the six monumental inflatable sculptures spread across Marina Square Atrium.

International artists like Edgar Plans, Laksamana Ryo, RYOL and Jun Oson redesigned Sesame Street inspired characters into giant contemporary art sculptures.

These sculptures are impossible to miss. Parents will probably spend more time taking photos than shopping.

There Will Also Be A Large Scale Art Gallery Featuring 10 Global Artists

Beyond the giant inflatables, shoppers can also explore a gallery of large scale artworks by 10 international artists.

The featured artists include Alex Chien, Jeremy Yamamura, Super Future Kid, Jordi Alos, Jade Kim, Suanjaya Kencut and J30000.

Each artist gives Sesame Street a different visual style, from playful cartoon designs to surreal pop art inspired works.

That is what makes this exhibition more interesting than a regular character pop up. It is not just about seeing Elmo and friends. It is about seeing how different artists from around the world reinterpret a childhood icon.

Guests Can Draw On The Walls At Doodle Wonder Alley

One of the most interactive zones is Doodle Wonder Alley. Here, families can colour directly onto maze like walls filled with comic style outlines of Sesame Street characters.

Guests can contribute directly to the artwork. Over time, the walls will fill up with doodles and drawings from people across the exhibition.

This is probably one of the best sections for younger kids, especially those who usually get told not to draw on walls. Here, they finally can.

Kids Can Jump Into A Colourful Bounce And Play Pit

Children aged 4 to 12 can enter the Bounce & Play Pit, a colourful ball pit where they can bounce, tumble and dive into a pool of balls.

The play pit can take up to 10 children at a time. Families must book time slots onsite. Participation is on a first come first served basis.

There Is A Sesame Street Inspired Mini Golf Zone Too

The exhibition also includes Golf Play, a mini golf adventure with six Sesame Street inspired holes.

Each child gets a golf club and soft ball to navigate the course. Golf Play is open to children aged 4 to 12, with up to 10 children allowed at a time.

Families must book time slots onsite. Participation is on a first come first served basis. Children must wear socks.

Every Child Gets An Activity Booklet With Challenges To Complete

Kids can collect a specially designed activity booklet that guides them through the exhibition.

The booklet includes fun challenges and also works as a keepsake from the event. The first 2,000 children who complete the activities can collect a free set of colouring pencils.

Kids can complete activities, explore the exhibition and bring home free colouring pencils.

Exclusive Sesame Street Artist Merchandise Will Be Available

For fans who love collectibles, there will also be a curated range of merchandise featuring artworks by the exhibition’s artists.

Visitors can purchase the merchandise at the retail counter.

Spend S$100 To Redeem An Artist Designed Tote Bag

Guests who spend a minimum of S$100 at Marina Square can redeem an exclusive Creative Streets tote bag featuring designs by global artists.

The tote bags are limited edition and available while stocks last. To qualify, guests must download the Marina Square App and register as a member.
