The Genki Sushi x Crayon Shinchan collaboration is coming to Singapore, with the mischievous five-year-old taking over the sushi trains from 24 September to 8 November 2026.
The menu goes beyond character-themed food
One of the most unusual additions is the Signature Cheesy Ebi Fry Taco at S$3.20. Instead of a conventional taco shell, the dish places crispy ebi fry inside an open temaki shell, turning the traditional handroll into a bite-sized sushi taco.
For something heartier, diners can choose the Shinchan Cheeky Chicken Katsu Rice at S$8.90. Genki Sushi pairs the crispy chicken katsu with sweet corn, rice and cheese sauce. Alternatively, the S$8.60 Miso Butter Corn Ramen combines miso soup, chicken chashu, corn and a knob of butter for a richer take on ramen.
Finally, the dessert may be the most collectible order of the lot. The S$6.90 Azuki Matcha Jelly Soft Serve comes with matcha jelly, azuki, dango and a Shinchan spoon.

What is on the Crayon Shinchan menu?
Spend S$50 for a Shinchan gashapon spin
Beyond the limited-time menu, diners who spend at least S$50 nett in a single visit will receive one complimentary spin at the Shinchan gashapon machine. The prizes include Genki Sushi vouchers and three practical Shinchan collectibles:
- Shinchan cup holder
- Shinchan phone strap
- Shinchan cable clips
However, the gashapon machine dispenses the prizes at random. Therefore, diners cannot choose which collectible they receive.
The lunch bag costs less for members and DBS/POSB cardmembers
In addition, Genki Sushi will sell a Shinchan Thermal Lunch Bag throughout the collaboration. The price depends on whether diners belong to Genki Sushi’s membership programme or hold a DBS/POSB card.
As a result, Genki Sushi members enjoy the lowest price and save S$4 on the public rate. Moreover, only members can purchase the Shinchan Hoodie, which costs S$25.90 in stores.
