Unlimited ribeye, tenderloin and duck confit for S$36++ per person are on the menu at Commune at Metro Y Hotel, thanks to its 1-for-1 dinner semi-buffet promotion. If local comfort food is more your thing, the lunch buffet works out to S$24++ per person for two diners. Both deals are available until 31 December 2026.
The restaurant sits at 60 Stevens Road, around a five-minute walk from Stevens MRT station. Beyond the buffet, it has another detail you might not expect from a hotel restaurant — some of the greens come from a hydroponic farm on the premises.
Dinner Gets You Unlimited Made-To-Order Meats
Commune’s 90-minute semi à la carte buffet offers unlimited made-to-order Australian grass-fed ribeye, striploin and tenderloin, alongside roast half spring chicken and duck leg confit. Try the different cuts, then order another round of your favourites.
The buffet spread covers sides, salads and desserts, with truffle mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, pizza, tomato soup, crispy onion rings and truffle fries. Save some room for assorted French pastries, fresh-cut fruit and ice cream.
With the 1-for-1 promotion, dinner costs S$72++ for two adults, or S$36++ each before service charge and prevailing taxes. Dinner runs from 6pm to 10pm, with last orders at 9.30pm.

Lunch Comprises Of A Rotating Local Spread
For local comfort food, the lunch buffet costs S$48++ for two adults under the 1-for-1 promotion — effectively S$24++ per person.
The five-day menu rotation includes fish head curry, signature claypot chicken rice, poached chicken with superior soya sauce, babi pongteh and tauhu goreng. Selections vary between lunches, with options such as creamy laksa pasta with prawn and truffle mac and cheese also appearing across the rotation.
Visit the Teochew porridge station for accompaniments including braised tofu skin and salted egg, or assemble your own kueh pie tee and fruit rojak at the DIY stations. Finish with fresh fruit and ice cream.

Some Of Your Salad Is Grown At The Hotel
Commune incorporates hydroponically grown greens from the hotel’s on-site Urban Farm into selected dishes, including its salad selection. It is a small detail that gives the restaurant a story beyond the usual buffet line-up.
The hotel is also a hospitality social enterprise operated by Metropolitan YMCA Singapore. Net surpluses from its operations support the organisation’s community outreach programmes.
Commune Buffet And Prices
Prices marked ++ are subject to service charge and prevailing taxes. The 1-for-1 promotion applies to adult prices. Check availability and promotion terms with the restaurant when booking.
