Written by Dania Rae

For a limited period, Bangkok Jam is launching an 80 minute all you can eat Thai buffet featuring 19 of its most popular dishes from the past 19 years, with prices starting from just S$19.90++ per person.

The anniversary buffet pays tribute to Chef Thongloy Wilaiwan, affectionately known by the team as the “Mama of Bangkok Jam”. Having been with the brand since its opening in 2007, she has spent 19 years shaping many of the flavours that customers keep returning for.

What Can You Expect At The Buffet?

The buffet combines self service selections with dishes that are freshly prepared upon order.

One of the standout items is the Khao Soi Pork Ribs Noodles, a Northern Thai curry noodle dish served sizzling hot. The dish uses two different types of noodles for contrasting textures and comes topped with tender pork ribs that have been slow cooked until fall off the bone soft.

Fans of Thai street food will also want to load up on the Classic Stir Fried Thai Minced Basil Pork, a comforting combination of minced pork, garlic, chilli padi and fragrant Thai basil that pairs perfectly with jasmine rice.

Other buffet highlights include:

  • Signature Phad Thai
  • Green Curry Chicken with Thai Brinjal
  • Clear Tom Yum Seafood Soup
  • Isan style salads
  • Thai appetisers
  • Vegetable dishes
  • Vegan friendly options

As a fun bonus, every diner can also request one complimentary fried egg through QR ordering, perfect for pairing with rice and basil pork.

Premium Buffet Unlocks Seafood, Beef And Unlimited Moo Ping

For just S$7++ more, diners can upgrade to the Premium Buffet and gain access to several additional dishes.

The biggest draw may be the Steamed Seabass with Chilli & Lime, a classic Thai dish featuring whole fish dressed in a bright, spicy and tangy chilli lime sauce. Premium diners also receive a serving of Black Pepper Beef served with rice.

But the item likely to win over meat lovers is the unlimited Moo Ping. These smoky grilled pork skewers are a staple of Thailand’s street food scene and are often the first thing many visitors buy when exploring Bangkok’s night markets.
