Imagine going to Sentosa for ice cream and somehow ending up doing battle ropes, burpees and pushing a giant Magnum pint across the sand.
That is essentially the idea behind HIIT THE BEACH, a new free beachside fitness playground opening at Palawan Beach from 24 October 2026 to 31 January 2027. Instead of a conventional HIIT class, the experience turns ice cream into an eight zone obstacle circuit featuring everything from monkey bars and pint jumps to weighted sleds.
And yes, there is ice cream waiting when the workout is over.
An Ice Cream Themed Obstacle Course
In a delicious twist, HIIT becomes “High Intensity Ice Cream Training”, with eight beachside challenges inspired by Magnum, Ben & Jerry’s, Cornetto, Calippo and Wall’s. Swing across monkey bars, leap over giant pint obstacles, tackle battle ropes and press increasingly heavy ice cream-inspired weights.
The circuit ends with oversized scoop obstacles and two Magnum BonBon challenges, where you pull and push a weighted pint sled to the finish. Think less serious workout class, more ice cream-themed beach playground.

The Finish Line You’d Actually Want To Cross
You do not need to be a fitness buff to take part. Tackle the eight stations at your own pace before cooling down at the Cooldown Isle, complete with seating, oversized ice cream installations, photo spots and limited-edition merchandise. Ice cream vending machines will also pop up around Sentosa. HIIT THE BEACH is the first instalment of a three-year partnership between The Magnum Ice Cream Company and Sentosa.
