Punggol to get its first waterfront hotel with infinity pool overlooking Coney Island

Written by Kelly Khor

Punggol will soon welcome its first hotel, and it is not your typical city stay. The upcoming property sits right by the waterfront and overlooks Coney Island, bringing a new stay option to Singapore’s northeast.

Where is this hotel located in Punggol?

The hotel will sit in Tower 98 within the Punggol Digital District. It is positioned at the edge of the district, facing the waterfront and Coney Island. Guests can also walk to Punggol Coast MRT Station and nearby retail and dining options.

The district includes eight towers: 80, 82, 84, 86, 88, 90, 92 and 98. Most towers are already open, though some are still filling up. Tower 98 will house the upcoming hotel.

What we know about the hotel (So far)

Habyt, a co-living operator known for flexible stay concepts, will run the hotel.

The development will feature about 224 rooms, including studio and loft-style units. These layouts support both short stays and longer stays.

Confirmed amenities include:

  • An infinity pool
  • Co-working café spaces
  • Shared communal areas
  • A laundrette concept branded as a social “Wash & Play” space

The design focuses on flexibility. It caters to students, researchers and working professionals in the district.

Open in 2027 Q1

The hotel is expected to open in the first half of 2027.

By then, more towers should be fully occupied, with a stronger mix of retail and dining options. As the first hotel in the Punggol Digital District, it will mainly serve people in the area. At the same time, its waterfront location could attract visitors looking for a stay outside the usual city spots.

For now, it stands out as one of the more unusual upcoming hotels in Singapore. Instead of focusing on luxury or tourism, it focuses on how people live, work and stay in a modern district.
