Mister Donut’s Viral Mocchurin Mochi Donuts Are Coming to Singapore from 1 July to 31 August 2026

Written by Kelly Khor

Food trends from Japan often take months to reach Singapore, but Mister Donut’s viral Mocchurin made headlines almost immediately after launching there. During its second release in Japan, many outlets reportedly saw long queues and daily sell-outs, with customers arriving early just to secure a box.

From 1 July to 31 August 2026, Singaporeans can finally try the limited edition Mocchurin series at Mister Donut outlets across the island. Daily quantities are limited, so those hoping to get their hands on one may want to head down earlier rather than later.

What’s Mocchurin Donuts?

Unlike the chewy Pon De Ring that many fans already know, Mocchurin takes the texture a step further.

Made using rice flour, the donuts are designed to deliver an even softer, stretchier and bouncier bite that’s meant to sit somewhere beyond a traditional mochi texture. It’s this unique consistency that helped turn the pastry into one of Japan’s most talked about seasonal launches earlier this year.

Three Flavours Are Launching in Singapore

Singapore will receive all three flavours that accompanied the Japanese launch, with each donut priced at S$3.

  • Red Bean — Filled with smooth Hokkaido sweet red bean paste and finished with a dusting of icing sugar.
  • Kinako — A simpler option that lets the signature chewy texture shine, coated generously with fragrant roasted soybean flour.
  • Double Sesame — Filled with rich black sesame paste and topped with toasted white sesame seeds for a savoury nutty finish.

If you’re planning to sample every flavour, Mister Donut is offering a dedicated Mocchurin Mochi Bundle.
