Looking for something different to do on the last weekend of August? Village Encounters is bringing a free two day festival to Holland Village on 29 and 30 August 2026, featuring live music, a giant beer pong, pet friendly experiences and plenty more to discover from day into night.
Live Bands, Roving Performers And DJ Sets
As the sun sets, Village Encounters comes alive with live entertainment throughout the two day festival. The programme includes roving performances by MSUKUMO SG, live band performances by Khim Ng and Jacklyn, as well as DJ sets by DJ Shane, DJ Sirkid and DJ Luqhere.
Interactive Games, Art And Family Friendly Activities
One of the main attractions is Giant Beer Pong, where participants can take aim using an oversized version of the familiar party game and stand a chance to win prizes. Visitors can also leave their mark on the Art Jam Backdrop, a large collaborative canvas that will gradually evolve as festivalgoers contribute to a shared community artwork throughout the weekend.
Other family friendly activities include neon face painting and a glow in the dark bracelet making station.
Bring Your Pet To The Paw Quest Zone
There is plenty for furry companions to enjoy too. The Paw Quest Zone will feature challenges that owners and their pets can complete together, along with photo opportunities around the festival grounds.
A pet friendly photobooth will also be available. Festival Pass holders can redeem one complimentary physical photo print, with more pet friendly experiences set to be announced closer to the event.
Spend S$30 To Unlock A Free Festival Pass
Admission to Village Encounters is free, but visitors who spend at least S$30 in a single receipt at any participating Holland Village merchant can redeem a complimentary Festival Pass. Only 1,000 passes will be available.
Each pass unlocks additional onsite perks, including:
- A complimentary drink redemption
- Free access to a workshop
- A photobooth pass
- One complimentary physical print at the pet friendly photobooth
- A chance to win cash vouchers
Participating merchants include popular Holland Village favourites such as Wala Wala, Sweet Cheeks, Hyggerium, 49 Seats, Bird of Paradise, Project Acai, La Nonna, Bark and Brew, Snackfirst Singapore and Capitol Optical.

Complete Every Activity To Unlock A S$49.90 Hidden Trail
Festival Pass holders who complete all the listed onsite activities can redeem a complimentary HIDDEN Village Trail Ticket worth S$49.90.
Available until 31 December 2026, the self guided experience takes participants through a series of curated stops, interactive challenges and lesser known corners of Holland Village at their own pace. Those who complete the trail will receive a limited edition Holland Village tote bag and a commemorative Monopoly keychain as keepsakes.
