Over 20 Japanese Food Vendors Are Coming To Jurong Point, With Most Flying In From Japan

Written by Jon Phay

Jurong Point is bringing a slice of Japanese autumn to Singapore, with more than 20 food vendors taking over the mall for the ISETAN Momiji Matsuri Fair from 6 to 18 October 2026. Most of the participating vendors are specially flying in from Japan for the fair.

Running from 6 to 18 October 2026 at JP1 Centre Stage, the event will focus on the flavours of Japan’s autumn harvest, with Japanese street food, seafood and sweet treats among the highlights. Opening hours are from 10.30am to 9pm from Sunday to Thursday, with extended hours until 9.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Expect takoyaki, taiyaki and Japanese seafood

Although the full 2026 vendor line-up has not been revealed yet, some of the dishes already highlighted include takoyaki, taiyaki and braised seafood, alongside a wider selection of Japanese food and snacks.

The 2024 edition at NEX featured more than 30 vendors, also with most specially flying in from Japan, serving everything from hashimaki and kushiyaki to ramen, Wagyu beef bowls, sake and even self-heating unagi bentos. Sweet treats included dango and freshly made Japanese apple crepes.

That previous edition also had some fun surprises beyond the usual festival staples. One standout was an unagi bento that heated itself after diners pulled a tab and waited around 10 minutes, while the dango selection ranged from classic mitarashi to more unusual flavours such as Ramune and spicy Onikara.
