Novena has a new Korean dining spot that offers more than a quick bowl of soup. Onggii has opened its third Singapore outlet at Square 2, featuring an interior inspired by Korea’s traditional hanok houses.
Its signature broths simmer for more than 12 hours
The menu focuses on gomtang, a comforting Korean soup made by slowly simmering meat and bones. Onggii describes itself as the home of Singapore’s first Korean gomtang. Its kitchen simmers the signature broths for more than 12 hours.
Diners can choose the classic Beef Gomtang or try chicken, pork, soybean and seafood-based broths. Each meal combines warm soup with fermented side dishes.
