McDonald’s fried chicken is getting a makeover, and there’s a new side to go with it. From 5 November, the fast-food chain is introducing a revamped McCrispy Fried Chicken recipe in Singapore alongside its first coleslaw. A two-piece meal starts from S$7.95 during the launch period, and fans can get an early taste at a two-night event before it reaches restaurants.
New McCrispy, coleslaw and returning Crinkle Cut Fries
The revamped McCrispy comes in Spicy and non-spicy Signature flavours, using thighs and drumsticks with a triple-layer coating. McDonald’s says the spicy version now has a stronger kick.
A two-piece meal starts from S$7.95 from 5 to 25 November, then from S$9.25 thereafter. Pair it with new coleslaw from S$2.50, or upgrade your meal to the returning Crinkle Cut Fries for S$1.
The items will be available for a limited time during non-breakfast hours at participating McDonald’s restaurants islandwide, Drive-Thrus and through McDelivery, GrabFood and foodpanda, while stocks last.
McDonald’s release mentions both 11am and 3pm for availability on 5 November, so check the McDonald’s app or your nearest participating outlet for the confirmed launch time.
Try the new chicken early at Bite Club
Can’t wait until 5 November? McDonald’s is holding a Bite Club event at its Aperia Mall outlet, where attendees can try the new spicy McCrispy ahead of its launch.
MyMcDonald’s Rewards members can redeem admission for themselves and one guest using 2,500 MyM Reward Points on the McDonald’s app. Redemptions open on 28 October at 3pm, with only 50 redemptions available for each event day, while stocks last.
Beyond the chicken, the event includes a punching bag challenge, a photo booth and a Sprite station where guests can customise a bottle with McCrispy stickers.
