While Lau Pa Sat has a massive World Cup watch party with 2 giant LED screens, CHIJMES might just become one of Singapore’s most happening FIFA World Cup 2026 spots this season.
From 11 June to 20 July 2026, the heritage lifestyle destination will be transformed into a full blown football hangout, complete with giant outdoor screenings, late night food, tequila cocktails, cultural performances and interactive football activities.
CHIJMES is becoming an outdoor World Cup fan zone
Forget watching matches alone on your phone at home. This World Cup season, CHIJMES will be screening matches on a gigantic 360 inch screen at its Main Lawn, with additional large screens around the venue.
Instead of a simple match screening, the setup feels closer to a mini football street party in the middle of the city. Expect crowds gathering under the night sky, drinks in hand, cheering whenever someone scores and collectively losing their minds during close matches.
For Singapore, where most people usually watch football at home, at bars or at coffee shops, this might be one of the more atmospheric places to soak in the World Cup mood.
The opening party starts at 10pm and goes till the 3am match
The festivities kick off on 11 June with a World Cup opening celebration held in collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico in Singapore, the Singapore Mexico Chamber of Commerce, the Embassy of the United States of America in Singapore and the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.
The event will feature Mexican cultural dance performances, Mexican live band entertainment, Latin pop DJ sets and iconic football anthems from 10pm, before the opening World Cup match is screened live at 3am.
Basically, if your ideal night involves football, music, dancing and staying out till sunrise with strangers screaming at a giant screen, CHIJMES is about to deliver.
There’ll be food, beer and tequila cocktails on the Main Lawn
The Main Lawn will also feature a football themed F&B village throughout the tournament season, with grab and go bites, fan platters, beer promotions and late night supper options during match hours.
One of the main highlights is Don Julio, an official FIFA World Cup 2026 supporter, which will be bringing a premium tequila experience inspired by the spirit of Mexico.
Visitors can look forward to signature cocktails crafted by expert mixologists, along with limited edition drinks inspired by the football season. In other words, this is the kind of place where people say they are only staying for one match, then somehow end up ordering another round.

You can turn yourself into an AI footballer
Beyond the live screenings, CHIJMES will also have interactive football activities around the venue.
At the Mini Lawn, football fans can take part in football clinics by Weston Next Gen on selected dates. There will also be mini football matches, interactive games and challenges suitable for different ages.
Visitors can also check out Lenovo’s Digital AI Photobooth, where they can select a jersey, pose for a photo and receive an AI generated image of themselves as a football player.
And for those worried about getting home after late night matches, TADA will be offering S$3 off rides to and from CHIJMES and Capitol Singapore from 12 June to 20 July 2026 with the promo code CCWC26, limited to 2 redemptions per user.
You can also win vouchers and a Lenovo gaming laptop
During the campaign period, shoppers who spend S$40 at CHIJMES can take part in the Spend & Score promotion, where they can play a football themed mini game and stand a chance to win instant shopping and dining rewards.
Each qualifying entry also gives shoppers a chance to enter the grand draw, where the top prize is a Lenovo gaming laptop worth more than S$4,000. Those who predict the World Cup winner can also earn an additional chance in the draw.
Whether you are there for the football, the food, the drinks or just the chaos of watching a match with hundreds of strangers, CHIJMES might end up becoming one of Singapore’s most memorable World Cup hangouts this season.
