Kou Teppan at Great World is making the Omakase experience a lot more wallet-friendly with its new Rolling Omakase concept, where prices get cheaper when more people dine together.

The biggest draw? A three-course lunch can start from just S$19.95 per person after discount, while its nine-course dinner can go from S$99.90 to S$49.95 per person for groups of five or more.

Number Of Diners Discount 3-Course Lunch Per Person
2 diners 20% off S$31.92
3 diners 30% off S$27.93
4 diners 40% off S$23.94
5 diners or more 50% off S$19.95

What Do You Actually Get For S$19.95?

The three-course lunch usually starts from S$39.90 before discounts.

The meal begins with two seasonal appetisers, followed by a live-grilled main course prepared teppanyaki-style. Diners can choose from chicken, ribeye or salmon.

There are also premium upgrade options, including Hokkaido Pork Loin for an additional S$10 and Japanese A5 Wagyu for an additional S$30.

The Main Highlight Might Be The Wagyu Garlic Fried Rice

One of the more exciting parts of the lunch set is Kou Teppan’s Ultimate Wagyu Garlic Fried Rice.

It is cooked on the teppan grill with garlic oil, Japanese rice and crispy garlic chips. For diners who do not want wagyu in their fried rice, a pork option is also available.
