Wu Pao Chun is marking seven years in Singapore with a month-long birthday celebration from 10 June to 5 July 2026. The Taiwanese bakery is bringing out limited-edition breads, Singapore-exclusive mochi buns, bundle deals and a sure-win gachapon machine for the occasion.
For regulars, this is a chance to revisit the bakery’s famous award-winning loaves. Meanwhile, first-timers get a good excuse to find out why Wu Pao Chun has built such a loyal following here.
The Singapore-Exclusive Items
The biggest new launches are two mochi buns created exclusively for Singapore: Kinako Red Bean Mochi and Chocolate Lava Mochi. Each is priced at S$2.80.
The Kinako Red Bean Mochi pairs roasted Japanese kinako with housemade red bean filling and a chewy mochi centre. In contrast, the Chocolate Lava Mochi leans richer, with a molten-style chocolate ganache inside a soft bun.
These two new flavours join existing favourites Sesame Joy and Nutty Together. During the anniversary period, customers can mix and match any four mochi buns for S$9.90.
Beyond the mochi buns, Wu Pao Chun is also introducing new breads that focus on slow fermentation, fruit, grains and richer textures.
- Sourdough Loaf (S$8.80): Naturally fermented and slow-proofed for a deeper flavour.
- French Fruit Loaf (S$8.80): Packed with walnuts, raisins, cranberries and candied orange peel.
- Red Wine Fig & Cream Cheese (S$9.80): Made with red wine-soaked figs, cream cheese and stone-ground wheat flour.
The Award-Winning Loaves That Built Wu Pao Chun’s Reputation
If you are visiting for the first time, the anniversary period is also a good chance to try the breads that earned Wu Pao Chun international recognition.
Lychee Rose Royale (S$24.80)
This championship-winning loaf reportedly took 12 months to perfect. It combines wine-soaked lychee, roasted walnuts and dried rose petals. The bread won the 2010 Masters de la Boulangerie championship.
Red Wine Longan (S$24.80)
The Red Wine Longan is another signature creation. It features red wine-soaked longan and walnuts, with a preparation process that takes several days. It also earned recognition at the Louis Lesaffre Cup.
French Pastries Join The Birthday Line-Up
For those who prefer pastries, Wu Pao Chun is also offering Pain aux Raisins and Pain au Chocolat at S$4.20 each.
The Pain aux Raisins comes with custard cream and rum-soaked raisins. Meanwhile, the Pain au Chocolat features buttery pastry layers wrapped around dark chocolate.
Customers can mix and match any three croissants or pastries for S$11.20 during the promotion period.
Sure-Win Gachapon Spin
Customers who purchase any anniversary promotion will receive one gachapon spin. Each spin comes with a guaranteed reward.
Possible prizes include free Shio Pan, free soy milk, S$4 off with a minimum spend of S$20, 10% off purchases, or S$2 off with a minimum spend of S$20.
However, do note that the prizes are issued as bounceback vouchers. They can be redeemed from 6 to 31 July 2026.
