Written by Kelly Khor

Thai drama fans, this is your sign to clear your Friday evening because Nanon Korapat is coming to Singapore. The GMMTV star will be appearing at Thai Festival 2026, giving fans a rare chance to catch him in person.

However, the festival isn’t just for Nanon fans. From 10 to 12 July 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy Singapore will transform into a mini Thailand with more than 100 food, shopping and lifestyle booths. Visitors can also enjoy authentic Thai street food, desserts, wellness brands and live performances throughout the three-day event.

What Is Thai Festival 2026?

Organised by the Royal Thai Embassy Singapore, Thai Festival is an annual celebration of Thai culture, food and creativity. The festival runs daily from 10am to 8pm, giving visitors plenty of time to eat, shop and soak up the atmosphere.

More than 100 booths will be taking part this year. Besides authentic Thai food and desserts, you’ll also find fashion, handicrafts, wellness products and lifestyle brands from across Thailand. In other words, it’s probably the closest thing you’ll get to spending a day at Chatuchak Market without leaving Singapore.

The biggest draw this year is undoubtedly Nanon Korapat, the Thai actor and singer best known for his GMMTV dramas and music career. He will be performing at the Thai Festival x GMMTV Mini Concert on Friday, 10 July 2026 at 5pm.

Joining him is T-Pop trio FLIO, making this one of the festival’s biggest entertainment line-ups to date. So, if you’ve been following Thailand’s booming entertainment scene, this is one performance you won’t want to miss.

Come Hungry: Thai Street Food, Desserts And More

No Thai festival is complete without amazing food, and this year’s line-up looks especially tempting. From comforting street food to nostalgic desserts, there’ll be plenty to snack on while exploring the festival.

Some highlights include authentic Southern Thai curry, crispy noodles, sweet corn milk, pandan pancakes, coconut pancakes, sweet potato pancakes, freshly made Thai desserts and crispy Thai rice chips.

Meanwhile, Baan Kanom Thai returns after a break, bringing its popular handmade Thai pancakes back to Singapore. This year, it’s also collaborating with Charoen Thai Rice Chips, making the booth a must visit for anyone who enjoys discovering unique Thai snacks.

Shop For The Thai Brands Singaporeans Always Bring Home From Bangkok

Let’s be honest. Every Bangkok holiday usually ends the same way. You arrive home with a suitcase full of snacks, herbal inhalers, skincare products and little finds from Chatuchak Market.

Fortunately, you won’t need to hop on a plane this time. Thai Festival 2026 brings many of those Bangkok shopping favourites to Singapore, making it easy to stock up on products you would normally buy overseas.

Besides food, visitors can browse a wide selection of Thai supermarkets, wellness brands and lifestyle products. Expect shelves filled with instant noodles, curry pastes, sauces, Thai seasonings, snacks, drinks and pantry staples, alongside herbal inhalers, essential oils, aromatherapy products, natural skincare and handcrafted goods.

Keep an eye out for familiar favourites like Poy-Sian and Hong Thai herbal inhalers, two cult products that have become must buy souvenirs for many Singaporeans visiting Bangkok. You may also discover smaller Thai brands that are rarely available outside Thailand.

Even if you’re not planning to spend much, don’t be surprised if you leave carrying a bag full of Thai goodies anyway.
