Spicy Wife has a Spicy Hubby now—and you’ll find him on Orchard Road. The nasi lemak brand behind the Amoy Street Food Centre stall has opened its first mall outlet at The Centrepoint, with chicken mains from S$9.90. There’s also a three-day 1-for-1 opening promotion from 16 to 18 October 2026.
Start with the S$9.90 chicken plate
The entry point is the Nasi Goreng Ayam Berempah (S$9.90). Despite the “nasi goreng” name listed in the release, the dish is described as coconut rice served with fried chicken coated in aromatic rempah and sambal. That spice-coated chicken is the connection to Spicy Wife’s hawker roots. If you’re visiting for the first time, this is the plate that introduces the combination the brand is known for, before you start exploring the additions.
Two new chicken dishes join the menu
Spicy Hubby expands on Spicy Wife’s menu with two new chicken dishes created especially for the mall outlet. Nasi Rendang Ayam (S$12.90) features chicken slow-cooked in a thick coconut gravy, while Nasi Ayam Gepuk (S$12.90) comes with a hand-pounded, marinated fried chicken cutlet.
Three days of 1-for-1 chicken mains
From 16 to 18 October 2026, Friday to Sunday, Spicy Hubby is offering a 1-for-1 promotion featuring Nasi Goreng Ayam Berempah (S$9.90), Nasi Rendang Ayam (S$12.90) and Nasi Ayam Gepuk (S$12.90). Check with the outlet for pairing rules and other terms before ordering.
