Monster Planet Opens in Tampines with New Crepes Café and a 1-for-1 Chicken Katsu Deal

Written by Jon Phay

Easties, your dessert and curry cravings just found a new home.

Monster Planet has officially opened at Tampines One, and there’s now even more reason to visit. The Tampines One outlet has successfully completed its halal certification process, marking a significant milestone for the brand’s newest outlet in the east. Muslim diners can now enjoy Monster Planet’s signature Japanese curry offerings with greater confidence and peace of mind.

The halal-certified Japanese curry brand is also home to Monster Crepes Lab, a brand new in-store café concept serving freshly made crepes, matcha drinks, coffee, and indulgent dessert beverages.

That means you can now go from monster-sized Japanese curry plates to warm crepes and ice cream without even leaving your seat.

New Halal Certification Promotion

To celebrate its newly achieved halal certification, Monster Planet is offering a special promotion from 22 to 25 June 2026.

Guests can enjoy 50% off their second curry rice when they purchase any curry rice item. Whether you’re sharing a meal with a friend or simply planning your next comfort food feast, it’s a great excuse to check out the newly certified outlet.

The promotion is available for a limited time only, so curry lovers may want to mark their calendars before it disappears.

Meet Monster Crepes Lab

At Monster Crepes Lab, every crepe is made fresh upon order with light, delicate layers and slightly crispy lacy edges. Dine-in versions come plated beautifully with ingredients on the side and a scoop of ice cream, while takeaway versions are rolled into easy-to-carry cones for your post-shopping sugar fix.

Some of the standout flavours include:

Matcha Mochi Red Bean Crepes

A Japanese-style favourite with chewy mochi, red bean, and earthy matcha flavours that feel both nostalgic and indulgent.

Crème Brûlée Crepes

Takeaway only, but worth it for that freshly caramelised crackling sugar top.

Choco Banana Crepes

Because chocolate and banana is one of those combinations nobody questions.

Peach Blossom Crepes

Lighter, fruitier, and perfect if you want dessert without entering a full sugar coma.

Prices start from S$7.90 for takeaway and S$10.90 for dine-in, which honestly feels dangerous for anyone trying to “just walk around Tampines One for a while.”
