Just days after KFC turned heads with its Curry x Sambal Zinger, which swapped traditional burger buns for prata, McDonald’s has responded with a collaboration that few saw coming. Teaming up with local snack icon Old Chang Kee, the fast food giant is rolling out an entire curry inspired menu that brings together two brands generations of Singaporeans have grown up with.
Two Curry Burgers, Two Different Takes
This collaboration introduces two limited time burgers inspired by local curry flavours. Launching first on 9 July is the Curry Potato Chicken Burger, which pairs a crispy chicken patty and fried egg with Old Chang Kee inspired curry potato filling. It is available as a Single or Double Extra Value Meal from S$9.20.
Joining the menu on 23 July is the Rendang Curry Beef Burger, featuring beef patties, rendang sauce, fried egg and onions. Extra Value Meals start from S$9.50 for the Single and S$12.30 for the Double.
