Resorts World Sentosa is going bigger than ever for Halloween this year. Instead of centring the celebrations around Halloween Horror Nights alone, the resort is introducing Festival of Thrills, a new two-month event running from 1 September to 1 November 2026.
The resort-wide festival spans Universal Studios Singapore, Singapore Oceanarium and Adventure Cove Waterpark. Visitors can expect haunted houses, scare zones, a murder mystery inside a waterpark, glowing ocean installations, Halloween shows and family-friendly activities throughout the season.
Halloween Horror Nights 14 remains the festival’s biggest draw
Halloween Horror Nights 14 remains the headline event. Running from 25 September to 1 November 2026 at Universal Studios Singapore, the annual scare fest returns with new haunted houses, scare zones and live entertainment.
This year’s edition introduces three haunted houses, including two that draw inspiration from Singapore’s own supernatural folklore. Karang Guni: The Cursed Collection takes visitors inside a cluttered karang guni shophouse, where every discarded item is said to carry the misfortune of its former owner.
Singapore’s Most Haunted: On Air transports guests into an abandoned television studio trapped in an endless broadcast of Singapore’s darkest supernatural tales. The third haunted house, Made In Hell: Xinling Robotics, shifts the horror into a futuristic bioengineering facility where artificial intelligence is powered by harvested human lifeforce.
The park will also feature two scare zones. Raveyard throws visitors into a neon undead party. Necropolis: The Serpent’s Crossroads brings guests into Ancient Egypt, where dangerous bargains are made with old gods.

There is also a cute Halloween option for families
Not everyone wants to be chased by scare actors. That is where Trick or Thrills comes in.
Running from 1 September to 1 November 2026 at Universal Studios Singapore, this family-friendly programme includes live shows, meet-and-greets, themed treats and exclusive merchandise.
Minion Land will get a Halloween makeover, complete with Minion-themed jack-o’-lanterns and photo spots. Guests can also catch The Belloween Ball, a new Minion show.
Characters such as Gru, Lucy, Margo, Agnes, Edith, Kuromi, Elmo, Count Von Count, Cookie Monster, Shrek and Fiona will also appear in Halloween outfits.

Singapore Oceanarium is going neon after dark
If you want something atmospheric but less scary, Singapore Oceanarium has Into the Glowcean from 5 September to 1 November 2026.
The experience focuses on bioluminescence, the natural glow produced by some marine life. A key highlight is Oceanic Glow, a series of installations by Singapore glass neon artist Megan Foo. Her work reimagines how ocean creatures use light to attract, hide or warn.
Visitors can also try neon art activities, create deep sea animal keychains, take part in light painting, enjoy face painting and join trick-or-treat sessions for kids. There will even be special dive feeding sessions featuring skeleton-costumed divers at the Open Ocean Habitat.

Adventure Cove Waterpark is hosting a murder mystery pool party
Held every Saturday from 1 September to 1 November 2026, the event starts as an after-dark pool party. Then the music cuts. The lights fail. A murder mystery begins.
Guests will investigate crime scenes, solve puzzles and work together to identify the culprit. Families can also check out Legend Keepers: The Ocean Spirit Awakens. This interactive adventure sends visitors around the waterpark to complete challenges inspired by local legends from places such as Kusu Island, Bukit Merah and Sisters’ Islands.
