As the Mid Autumn Festival draws close (13 September 2019), more eateries are introducing their unique take on mooncakes.
Mickey Mouse Goes Local
This year, Swensens has introduced ice-cream mooncakes with Mickey Mouse designs. There are four flavors and they include the sticky chewy chocolate, Bandung, Cookies ‘N’ Cream and Kaya.
A box of four (one flavor each) comes with a limited edition Mickey Go Local cooler bag and retails at S$69.80.
Other Flavors of Home
Besides Mickey Mouse ice-cream mooncakes, Swensens also has other smaller, local flavored ice-cream mooncakes.
They include familiar taste like the Sedap Chempedak, Sticky Chewy Chocolate, Durian Supreme, Kaya, Yummy Yam and Bandung.
A set of 4 retails at S$42.80. It also comes with an exclusive cooler bag.
