VivoCity’s Sanrio Moonlit Garden Has A 7 Metre Pompompurin And Kuromi Carnival

Written by Jon Phay

From 25 August to 27 September 2026, VivoCity’s Sky Park will transform into a Sanrio Moonlit Garden filled with giant characters, glowing lanterns and carnival games.

The rooftop attraction features six themed areas inspired by Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, My Melody, Hangyodon and Pompompurin.

A 7 Metre Pompompurin Sits On A Giant Mooncake

The garden’s largest centrepiece is a seven metre Pompompurin sitting on top of an oversized mooncake, with Singapore’s southern waterfront in the background.

Inspired by the Mid-Autumn tradition of gathering over tea and mooncakes, the installation is surrounded by oversized teacups and playful decorations. Visitors can also look out for smaller Sanrio details hidden around the display.

Walk Beneath Hundreds Of Lanterns With Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty Starlit Lantern Walk transforms the connecting bridge at Sky Park into an illuminated passage lined with hundreds of colourful lanterns and fairy lights.

Giant Hello Kitty and My Melody inflatables stand at opposite ends of the walkway, turning the bridge into one long Sanrio photo spot.

Nearby, Cinnamoroll Secret Garden Grove features floral arches, lantern walls and a five metre wide Cinnamoroll inflatable surrounded by garden scenery.
