After 18 Years, Seoul Yummy Is Closing Its Final Singapore Outlet — Say This Phrase For 18% Off Army Stew

Written by Kelly Khor

Another familiar restaurant is disappearing from Singapore’s dining scene. Seoul Yummy will close its final outlet at Kallang Wave Mall on 22 October 2026, bringing the Korean restaurant chain’s 18-year run to an end.

Seoul Yummy grew from one restaurant to seven outlets

Established in 2008, the homegrown brand expanded to seven outlets by 2016, with restaurants at ION Orchard, Bugis+ and Marina Square. Its army stew, cheese pots and hot plate dishes helped introduce casual Korean dining to more Singaporeans.

Gratify Group founder Frank Lau said its Seoul Yummy outlets were progressively closed as their leases expired while the company focused on other concepts. The final outlet is closing amid Kallang Wave Mall’s upgrading works, with affected employees transferred to other brands within the group.

Say “I will miss Seoul Yummy” for 18% off

Until 22 October 2026, diners can enjoy 18% off Seoul Yummy’s signature Korean Army Stew by telling a staff member, “I will miss Seoul Yummy.” The farewell promotion is available for dine-in customers only, with other terms and conditions applying.

With Gratify Group now retiring the brand and no other operating outlet announced, those who miss the closing date will not have another Seoul Yummy branch to visit.
