IKEA Alexandra will host a hide and seek competition on Jun 6 and 7.
Participants will search for eight “professional hiders” hidden across different sections of the showroom, including furniture displays and room setups.
The Alexandra outlet’s showroom uses a one way walkthrough layout connecting multiple sections of the store, which will form part of the game route during the competition.
Here’s How The Game Works
Participants must compete in teams of two. At least one person in each team must be an IKEA Family member.
Each team will have 45 minutes to locate the hidden participants around the showroom.
Points are awarded based on how quickly teams find each hider:
- First team: 140 points
- Second team: 139 points
- Points continue decreasing after each successful find
Teams must submit their sightings immediately after spotting a hider. The team with the highest score at the end wins the competition.
Winners Can Get S$10,000 Worth Of IKEA Family Points
The grand prize is 1,000,000 IKEA Family points worth around S$10,000.
The event will run from 10am to 10.45am on both days.
Registration is open until May 31 and slots are limited.
