For Singapore’s 61st birthday, Orchid Live Seafood is serving Mud Crab, Boston Lobster and Soon Hock at S$61 each, turning its National Day promotion into one worth considering for the family makan group chat.
The SG61 promotion runs from 23 July to 11 August 2026 at both its HomeTeamNS Khatib and Jalan Kelulut outlets.
S$61 gets you Mud Crab, Boston Lobster or Soon Hock
The headline deal is straightforward: diners can choose from three live seafood options at S$61 each during the promotional period.
The Mud Crab normally goes for S$98 per kg, while a Boston Lobster is usually S$88 per piece. Soon Hock, also known as marble goby, is normally priced at S$9 per 100g.
The S$61 crab comes with five cooking styles
Going for the Mud Crab does not mean being stuck with one preparation. Diners can choose from Chilli, Cream Cheese, Salted Egg with Pumpkin Sauce, Steamed with Egg White or Pepper.
The Boston Lobster gets a similarly broad selection, including Chilli, Salted Egg with Pumpkin Sauce, Cream Cheese and Pepper.
There is also a Garlic Butter Mushroom Steamed with Vermicelli option, where the noodles underneath the lobster soak up the seafood juices. This may be the dish to order if your table firmly believes carbs should never waste a good sauce.

Beyond the S$61 deals are Giant Clams & Lobster Porridge
If you are already making the trip down for the S$61 seafood, take a look at the clam dishes too. The New Zealand Surf Clam “Tua Tua” is particularly interesting because it is basically a much bigger, meatier cousin of the “La La” we are used to seeing in Singapore. Normally S$60 per kg, it has a creamy texture and a more pronounced ocean flavour. Selected premium clam dishes at the HomeTeamNS Khatib outlet are also 30% off on weekdays in July.
But if there is one dish we would not overlook, it is the Live Lobster Porridge. Priced from S$72 for two, this is one of Orchid Live Seafood’s signatures and the sort of warm, comforting dish that makes sense after a table full of richer seafood. The recipe has also recently been tweaked for a deeper seafood flavour, with the porridge slow-simmered to draw out the lobster’s natural sweetness.

The meal ends with an old-school popsicle
Dine-in customers at both outlets can redeem a complimentary nostalgic popsicle while stocks last.
From 1 August 2026, the HomeTeamNS Khatib outlet takes the throwback theme one step further with a limited-time popsicle cart at the counter. Decked out in National Day colours, the cart is designed to evoke the old-school popsicle carts associated with Singapore’s kampong days.
