Apple April 2021 Product Launch Highlights: New iPad Pro, Colorful iMacs, AirTags and more

Apple held its “Spring Loaded” product launch last night (20 April 2021) via its official website.

Through the one hour event, they announced a colorful new iMac, an updated iPad Pro and various accessories.

Thinner (and more colorful) iMac (From S$1.7k)

Seven new iMac models show off the computer’s slim profile and array of available colors.

According to Apple, the new iMacs are powered by Apple’s new M1 silicon processors. Besides looking 50% thinner than its predecessors, the iMac are also fitted with improved camera that can record 1080p video in low light. Apple also says the display runs at “4.5k” resolution.

The computers are also available in 7 different colors.

New Purple iPhone 12 & Mini (From S$1.1k)

Until today, the iPhone12 and 12 Mini were available in black, white, blue, green and red.

Now, they are also available in purple. However, the specs remains the same.


iPad Pro 2021 (From S$1.2k)

The biggest change in the new iPad Pro is the use of the new M1 silicon chip.

The main features of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro include a better display screen (10,000 LEDs compared to 72 in previous models), 5G wireless connectivity and there is even an Ultra Wide front camera.

AirTags (From S$45)

These tags help you keep track of items you normally misplace. Simply attach a tag to your keys, backpacks or any items and you can track them using the Find My app function.
