Authorities calling for ideas to repurpose Old Changi Hospital, netizens wants haunted house attraction

We all know Old Changi Hospital as a historical site. Back then during the 1930s, it was known as the Royal Air Force Hospital. It then became a hospital for prisoners of war.

The building has closed down since 1997.

Now, the authorities are calling for suggestions via an ideas competition to re-purpose the Old Changi Hospital into an attraction, while preserving its peaceful and rustic character.

The competition, called Charmingly Changi, seeks ideas from the members of the public to enhance the “rustic charm” and “tranquility”.

Top submissions will receive cash rewards of up to S$6,000.
