Two lions break free from their container at Changi Airport, sedated afterwards

Two lions broke free of the container they were being transported in at Changi Airport on 12 December. They were on their way to an overseas facility.

With the help of Mandai Wildlife Group, they were shot with a tranquiliser gun . In order to be brought to the animal quarantine facility, they had to be sedated.

The lions are now under recovery and monitored. They will remain in the animal quarantine facility in Mandai for the time being.
