We all can’t disagree that food is one of the best part of Christmas, right? It sure brings smiles to most of our faces– especially sweet treats!

The question is– should you get cakes, cookies or even macaroons for Christmas? With Jinglebakesco’s Christmas Box, you can savour a bit of everything!

Introducing the Christmas Box ($23), which comprises of bakes with an added hint of familiar Christmas flavours like Peppermint and Cinnamon.

The Christmas Box comprises of: 

    • 2 stuffed s’mores chunkies
    • 2 peppermint dark chocolate macarons
    • 2 coffee macarons with 55.5% dark chocolate kahlua filling
    • 3 brownies (sea salt, biscoff, nutella)

Some of the bakes that stood out to us were the stuffed s’mores chunkies and Peppermint macaroons. Those were not too sweet and the cinnamon taste in the chunkies elevates the flavours. With the marshmallows, it adds chewiness and softness to each bite.

Jinglebakesco first started out in February this year. The founder is currently a student pursuing her passion in baking during her gap year.

Although it is challenging to juggle between baking and administrative matters solo, she proved that it is possible so long as you have the determination!

Shine A Light is a display that aims to represent the harmony of Singaporeans. From now till December 31, each light highlights a different cause.

It takes place every 15 minutes from 8:45pm.

From Dec. 26 – 31, showtimes will be from 8pm – 10:30pm every 15 minutes, with extended showtimes till 11:45pm on NYE.

Waterfront Promenade light installations

Lastly, dance around or take a stroll along the Waterfront Promenade light installations.

Showtimes are from 8 pm to 10.30 pm daily, until 31 December 2021.

You can expect rainy days for the first half of December, with the lowest temperature of 22 degrees

It’s snowing in other countries but it’s the rainy season right here in Singapore!

As the north-east monsoon period has arrived, the temperatures are expected to be between 24 degrees to 33 degrees.

It may even drop up to 22 degrees! You can expect rain on most days in the first half of the month.
