Community project, JalanJalan.me, is having a heartland foodie hunt with prizes worth S$2,000 to be won!

Taking place from 15 March to 30 April 2021, participants has to visit #JalanHuat locations. These are locations where the fortune cat is appearing on the JalanJalan.me website.

Here’s how the fortune cats looks like on the map:

The participants then has to scan the QR code which is displayed prominently at the shop front. They will then be brought to a landing page on the website, then directed to a google form to answer some questions about the Jalan Jalan campaign.

Multiple entries are allowed, which increases your chance in the Grand Draw. However, each individual has only one chance in the weekly lucky draw.

Weekly draw prizes include S$150 Tuck shop app credits that you can use at Yishun Hawker Centre, S$30 voucher from Chong Pang Nasi Lemak and Unpackt.

The second and third prize winners for the grand draw walks away with an Apple Watch Series 3 and $188 Grab Food vouchers respectively.

Singapore Sports Hub introduces a series of activities to keep your kids busy during the March holidays

The long-awaited March school holiday is about to be here. This holidays, the Singapore Sports Hub has a range of fun-filled activities for families and children.

5-Days Multi Activity Sports Camp

The five-day sports camp run from 15-19 March. Children aged between 3-12 years old gets to bond with one another over a variety of sports.

Here’s the camp schedule:

  • Monday: Soccer, Frisbee, Athletics, Fun Games
  • Tuesday: Rugby, Tennis, Floor-ball, Arts n Crafts
  • Wednesday: Basketball, Dodge-ball, Martial Arts, Team Games
  • Thursday: Cricket, Baseball, Kickball, Dance
  • Friday: Sports Day and Fun Games

The camp starts at 9am and ends at 3pm daily.

Kids Dance Classes

The March holiday is also a time for kids to pick up a new hobby.

This school holidays, the Sports Hub Kids Dance Classes is also offering BollyJAZZ and Bollywood dance classes.

The classes are conducted by Ms Divya, a national-level dancer trained in various dance forms.

The price for 8-sessions is S$225. BollyJAZZ classes are taught every Friday from 6pm – 7pm. The Bollywood classes happens every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 6pm.

Sports Hub Museum Exhibition

The Sports Hub Singapore used to be the arena to go to for big concerts before Covid-19. From now till 15 August 2021, the Sports Hub Museum is holding a “POSTERity” exhibition.

This exhibition aims to provide a glimpse of some of the events held at the stadium.

There will also be posters autographed by international artistes like Blackpink, Jay Chou and Michael Chang.

Kallang Wave Mall March Holidays Activities

In addition, the Kallang Wave Mall has also stepped up its game so the fun does not stop at Singapore Sports Hub.

This March holidays, the Mall will also introduce a segway or hoverboard obstacle course for the kids. In addition, children can also participate in an Interactive 3D Maze Quest.

Wildlife Reserves Singapore has a special promotion for all local residents this March! One-for-one tickets to Singapore Zoo, River Safari, Night Safari and Jurong Bird Park are available from 3 to 7 March 2021.

Tickets are available for single-park, same-day admission from 3 to 31 March 2021.

The promotion is valid for both adult and children. Tickets can be purchased in various combinations (two adults, one adult and one child, two children). However, attractions exclude tram rides and the Amazon River Quest boat ride.

Gardens by the Bay brings back its annual Sakura Matsuri event with Hello Kitty from 1 March 2021

Gardens by the Bay is returning its annual Sakura Matsuri event this year on 1 March.

This year’s event will also feature the beloved Sanrio character, Hello Kitty, at a new Sakura Floral Display.

In addition, visitors can walk through torii, a traditional Japanese gate which can be considered a distinctive Japanese landmark.

Here’s how the torii from last year looked like:

The display at the Flower Field features tancho (Japanese red-crown cranes), sakura (cherry blossoms), and momo (peach blossoms).

Due to Covid-19 safety regulations, the onsite ticketing counters at Gardens by the Bay will not open. All visitors have to pre-book their visit date and time. Visitors are allowed up to one hour in each conservatory.
