On 29 June 2019, from 1100hr to 1700hrs, diners can enjoy S$1 “generous sampling portion” of delicious Singapore food from any of the 26 veteran and young participating hawkers.
This year, diners will not only get to enjoy traditional, local delights like chicken rice, roti prata and epok epok. They will also get to try modern interpretations of local food like curry chee cheong fun, wagyu beef burger and nasi lemak ayam taliwang.

Additionally, there will also be 1,000kg of top species durian like Mao Shan Wang, Red Prawns and D24 going at S$1 each, purchase with purchase.
Family-friendly Carnival
There will also be activities like kids craft, face painting, S$1 bouncy castle, S$1 weekend bazaar and photo-booth scattered at different parts of the hawker centre.
