Streat Singapore Food Festival has food, drinks and entertainment

The main event of Singapore Food Festival 2019, Streats, is back today and tomorrow (12 & 13 July 2019) with food, drinks and music.

This year’s theme is “Savour Singapore in Every Bite”.

The Food

12 F&B stalls will be serving delicious hawker food and modern interpretations of local cuisine. The operators includes:

  • Artichoke Singapore
  • Jin Ji Teochew Braised Duck & Kway Chap
  • FatPapas Burgers and Shakes
  • Indian Express
  • MeatSmith SG
  • Restaurant Ibid
  • Sabar Menanti 2
  • Salted and Hung
  • SIRI House Dempsey
  • The Feather Blade
  • Wokin Burger

Among the offerings, look out specially for the Jin Ji Teochew Braised Duck & Kway Chap, zichar-inspired burgers from Wok In Burger, and chicken rice kueh pie tee from Salted & Hung.

New eatery outlet, Restaurant Ibid, will also be selling  Hong Kong-inspired brown butter beef curry dish and a yuan yang milk tea shaved ice dish.

The Drinks

There is also a pop-up bar by Origin Bar selling locally crafted district-inspired cocktails. All cocktails retail at S$15.

Some of the cocktail selection includes “Ma-sa-la” (Masala Spices, Gin, Single Malt Whisky, Milk Wash, Citrus), “Kopittan”(Local Kopi Vermouth, Bourbon, Black Cherry, Angostura Bitters) and “Local Negroni” (Hibiscus, Hawthorn, London Dry Gin, Campari, Sweet Vermouth).

The Entertainment

There are also live performances by our local talented musicians.

Boy band hauste, RETROFOCUS and Charlie Lim are slated to perform on 12 July 2019 while Glen Wee, Dreesbsby and Astronauts will entertain the crowd on 13 July 2019.

BONUS: Exclusive Launch

Be amongst the first Singaporeans to shop for snacks and drinks that are exclusively launched during this event. For instance, Yakun is debuting the limited edition Pocky flavours: Kaya Toast and Kopi O Pocky. Each box retails at only S$2.

Homegrown bubble tea brand, LiHo will also be launching an avocado Kopi drink (S$6.90).
