Singapore Sports Hub to telecast NDP live on dual screen for the first time

If you’re still feeling sore from not being allocated the National Day Parade tickets, you can either tune in to some Singapore radio stations to win them, or simply head down to Singapore Sports Hub for some celebrations.

For the first time, there will be a live dual screen telecast of the National Day Parade. Visitors can have a family picnic by the waterfront and enjoy the fireworks from the celebrations at Padang.

Additionally, there are also activities specially planned to showcase Singapore’s culture.

Heritage Family Games

Visitors can form teams of 3 to 5 to relive the good old days with games featuring elements of Singaporean heritage such as pulling a rickshaw and doing a Samsui Dash.

These activities, suitable for 4 years and older starts runs from 10am to 6pm. Registration is required. The registration fee is S$5.40 per participant and each person will receive a games T-shirt and tote bag upon completion of the games.

Red-X Challenge

Fitness enthusiasts can also take part in the special bicentennial edition of the Red-X Challenge. There are stations both on land and the sand. Additionally, the first 200 participants who completes the challenge will receive a special edition Red-X Games Dry Bag worth S$20.

Registration is required and the Red-X Challenge is suitable for 16 years old and above. This challenge is available from 10am to 3pm.

Sports Hub Workout Lah!

Choreographed with a Singaporean twist, visitors can dance away with a unique cardio-fusion dance workout from 2pm to 4pm. This mass workout is suitable for 7 years old and above and is free.

The workout includes 20 minutes of Kardio Kickboxing, 40 minutes of MegaDance and 40 minutes of Zumba.
