Singapore returns to Phase 2 Heightened Alert, dine-in suspended

As the Covid-19 cases in Singapore continues to rise, the Multi-Ministry Taskforce has announced Singapore will be returning to Phase 2 Heightened Alert.

Social Gatherings limited to maximum of 2 people

From 22 July 2021 to 18 August 2021, the permissible group size for social gathering will be reduced from the current group size of five people to two. In addition, there is a cap of two distinct visitors per household daily. However, grandparents who care for their grandchildren will not be counted towards the cap.

Dine-In Suspension

All F&B establishments, including hawker centres and food courts, can only offer takeaway and delivery options from Thursday.

McDonald’s Singapore announces 2-pax dine-in only, regardless of vaccination status

As the Covid-19 cluster gets bigger and the emergence of various other clusters, McDonald’s Singapore has announced that it will allow 2-pax dine-in for all of its customers, regardless of vaccination status. This measure will be in effect from 19 July 2021 to 8 August 2021.

General Manager of McDonald’s Singapore, Benjamin Goh said the move is to ensure safety of employees and customers.

As a brand that serves thousands of people of varying age groups every day, keeping our employees and customers safe remains our top priority. We appreciate the choice given to F&B establishments to decide which protocols work best for them, and we’ve decided on 2-pax dine-in as the safest option for our customers and employees

However, customers can continue to enjoy McDonald’s menu from the comfort of their homes via delivery, drive-thru and takeaway.

Singapore Gourmet Popcorn company launches 5,000 sets limited edition Pokémon themed popcorn

Singapore gourmet popcorn manufacturer and distributor, The Kettle Gourmet is launching a series of Pokémon popcorn from today (1 July 2021).
