YAYOI offers 50% return voucher for all takeaway orders from now till 19 April 2020

Japanese Teishoku restaurant, YAYOI is offering 50% return vouchers for all walk-in takeaway orders from now (6 April 2020) till 19 April 2020.

The voucher can be used to offset 50% of the gross spending after GST, whole number before decimal place.

This return voucher can be used at any YAYOI outlets for both dine-in and walk-in takeaway until 31 December 2020.

JUMBO Group of Restaurants offering 50% discounts on live seafood for April 2020

From now till 30 April 2020, JUMBO Group of Restaurants is offering its seafood dishes for up to 50% discount.

The live seafood could be served in different styles according to the outlets and here are the deals:

  1. Live Australian Lobster (50% Discount): Now at S$11.40/100g* (U.P. S$22.80 per 100g)
  2. Live Alaskan Crab (30% Discount)
  3. Live Dungeness Crab (30% Discount)

Do note the prices are subjected to service and prevailing GST charges and the prices may vary across restaurants. This promotion is also valid for both dine-in and takwaway. While stocks last.

Singapore’s 4th Telco TPG Telecom offering 50GB Data SIM-only Plan for S$10

Singapore’s newest telecom, TPG Telecom recently introduced its first new SIM-only, prepaid plan.

Dubbed as the “best-value no-contract plan”, this S$10 plan comes with 50GB data, 300 minutes local call time, 30 SMS, free caller ID, free incoming calls and incoming SMS.

In addition, TPG Telecom is also offering free 1GB roaming to “selected countries” from May 2020.

These are the additional charges:

  • S$1/additional GB
  • S$0.01/ 30 seconds of additional call time
  • S$0.05/ additional SMS

This subscription is valid for 30 days for SIM-only customers and will be automatically renewed.

In terms of coverage, customers can only use the service when they use a 4G-ready (supporting LTE 2300MHz/900MHz) handset or device. TPG also said that it has limited coverage in tunnels but improvements are currently ongoing.

Pizza Hut offering 1-for-1 pizza promotion every Tuesday

Pizza Hut Singapore recently announced every Tuesday to be 1-for-1 pizza day. As such, any two pizzas ordered on a Tuesday, except for the eve of and on public holiday retails from S$10.

To enjoy this deal, patrons need to order online via the Pizza Hut app or website. While stocks last.

Show your support for frontline workers in Singapore by clapping from your windows at 8pm on 30 March 2020

If you’re wondering what can you do to show your support for frontline workers in Singapore, one Martin Verga, has organized an event on Facebook that invites you to clap for our medical professionals at 8pm tonight (30 March 2020) at the comfort of your house’s window.

Here’s his intentions:

“After watching highlights of the UK population #Clapforourcarers #ClapforNHS on Thursday night in an emotional setting, I believe we can do our own version of this for Singapore! For the doctors, nurses, carers, emergency services, delivery workers, warehouse workers, cleaners, supermarket staff and everyone else keeping Singapore safe and stocked at this time. We will be forever grateful.

On top of this I could not be prouder to live and work in a country where the government has been applauded on the worldwide stage for its response to the COVID-19 outbreak. The transparency of what is happening in Singapore with daily updates from gov.sg keeping the population informed with honesty and integrity makes living through this ongoing crisis easier and more comfortable. For this they should definitely be included in the clap!

So how about it, Monday 30th March, 8pm, out of your windows, doors or balconies of your home we can clap as loud as we can to #SGUnited and let the people getting us through this tough situation be appreciated.

S$2 Kit Kat McFlurry now available at McDonald’s Singapore outlets till 15 April 2020

From now till 15 April 2020, McDonald’s Singapore is reintroducing the Kit Kat McFlurry in its menu and is offering it at just S$3 per cup.

However, there is a purchase-with-purchase promotion. For anything other items you purchase from McDonald’s outlet, you are entitled to enjoy the Kit Kat McFlurry at just S$2 per cup.
