Singapore Airlines accepting preorder for limited edition Mahjong set at S$338

Due to popular demand, Singapore Airlines is bringing back its limited edition Mahjong set featuring the Airline’s signature batik motif.

The mahjong set retails at S$338 or 42,250 miles on KrisShop.

However, each customer is limited to one set and delivery will only be in by July 2021.

Garden by the Bay brings back ‘Garden Rhapsody’ light & sound show for free, from 8 Jan 2021

Gardens by the Bay will be bringing back the full version of its Garden Rhapsody light and sound show from today (8 January 2021).

The free 15-minutes sound show features the lights of the 12 Supertrees “dancing” to a musical soundtrack.

Here’s how last year’s show looks like:

There are two time slots per day: 7.45pm and 8.45pm.

Visitors gets to experience compilations from great composers such as Frédéric Chopin’s Grande Valse Brilliante.

In addition, there are also special renditions of songs from movies like The Little Mermaid and Pinocchio, and The Phantom Of The Opera!

Sentosa extends free entry for monorail and drive-through, till 31 March 2021

Sentosa has announced they will be extending the free entry promotion to the island until 31 March 2021.

During this period, visitors can ride the monorail at Vivocity for free. In addition, those driving into the island can also enjoy complimentary entry.

While you are there, you can visit the new island lights with Sanrio Character event.

This event has also been extended to 10 January 2021. Prior online booking is required.

Jurong Bird Park celebrates Golden Jubilee birthday with S$2.50 admission ticket deal for the entire month of January 2021

Even as we ease into Phase 3, there will not be any fireworks display at this year’s Marina Bay New Year’s Eve countdown. However,  Singaporeans can still look forward to them at 11 locations in the heartland to usher in 2021.

SMRT & SBS Transit Extends Train and Bus Services for New Year’s Eve 2020

Public transport operators, SMRT and SBS Transit, are extending their service hours for all train lines and selected bus services this New Year’s Eve (31 December 2020).

As part of its 12 days of Christmas flash deals, Downtown East will be offering 2D1N Staycation at D’Resort at S$12, available for purchase on 24 December 2020.

Canberra Plaza officially opens tomorrow, has Daiso, A&W, Gymmboxx and 70 other shops

Canberra Plaza, located beside the new Canberra MRT Station, will open tomorrow on 18 December 2020.

The new mall in Sembawang houses 70 commercial outlets. However, only 40 shops are in the directory listing. There is also a small water play park, community plaza and learning spaces.

Other notable brands include Daiso, A&W, Gymmboxx and Starbucks.
