As the Covid-19 cluster gets bigger and the emergence of various other clusters, McDonald’s Singapore has announced that it will allow 2-pax dine-in for all of its customers, regardless of vaccination status. This measure will be in effect from 19 July 2021 to 8 August 2021.
General Manager of McDonald’s Singapore, Benjamin Goh said the move is to ensure safety of employees and customers.
As a brand that serves thousands of people of varying age groups every day, keeping our employees and customers safe remains our top priority. We appreciate the choice given to F&B establishments to decide which protocols work best for them, and we’ve decided on 2-pax dine-in as the safest option for our customers and employees
However, customers can continue to enjoy McDonald’s menu from the comfort of their homes via delivery, drive-thru and takeaway.

Uniqlo launches the Jujutsu Kaisen collection, which is the first collaboration with a popular Japanese manga series. This series features mesmerising scenes and characters from the series.
This collection will be available both online and in-store from 23 July onwards.

Gram Pancakes launches a new limited edition Hershey’s Chocolate pancake at their new outlet on 12 July 2021.
In case you have never visited them before, they sell deliciously stacked souffle pancakes with whipped cream and topped with butter.
Their new outlet is currently having an opening promotion. With every purchase of the Hershey’s pancakes, you can get a strawberry fizz or passionfruit fizz at just 10 cents.

Seafood and meat supplier, Frozen & Co, is bringing back its durian market at Labrador Park this week from tomorrow (16 July) to 18 July 2021.

During this event, 200g MSW Durian will be retailing at S$12/box. However, each customer is entitled to purchase a maximum of 2 boxes or 400g of durian.

As this event was first held last week, there were many disgruntle patrons who have taken to Facebook to voice this dissatisfaction over the long wait for durians.
The organizer have since apologized.
Let’s hope they learned from their shortcoming last week.

After celebrating National Fried Chicken Day, KFC Singapore is at it again with another celebration – International French Fry Day.
To commemorate this joyous occasion, the fried chicken brand is giving away free Cheese Fries with the purchase of its 2-piece and 3-piece meals. This offer starts today (13 July 2021) and ends on 16 July 2021.

Free disposable masks and mouth spray will be issued by The Temasek Foundation after the 9 of August.
This initiative, Stay Prepared, prepares communities for emergencies such as Covid-19. It previously distributed free reusable masks through vending machines.
If you have yet to collect your free oximeters, you may also do so at pharmacies and supermarkets between now and 5 August.
More updates for the mask and mouth spray will be given after National Day.

From now till 31 July 2021, Awfully Chocolate is celebrate World Chocolate Day with a buy one get one free promotion on its premium dark chocolate, Hei ice-cream.
