McDonald’s Singapore brings back signature Prosperity Burgers and Twister Fries for CNY, from 28 Jan 2021

From today (28 January 2021), McDonald’s Singapore is bringing back the Prosperity Burger Meal. This has been an annual delight every Chinese New Year.

The Prosperity Burger Meal comes with either the Prosperity Chicken Burger or the Prosperity Beef Burger. Both burgers are coated with black pepper sauce and sprinkled with onion.

The single patty burger starts from S$5.70 while the double patty starts from S$7.70.

Additionally, the meal also comes with the  Twister Fries (S$3.90), Peach Pie (S$1.40) and Peach McFizz (S$3.35). The Prosperity Feast costs S$10.30. It also comes with a set of red packet, while stocks lasts.

Texas Chicken rides on the hae bee hiam bandwagon with the new hae bee hiam chicken

Texas Chicken Singapore will be selling festive items on its menu from tomorrow (28 January 2021) till 3 March 2021.

Hae Bee Hiam Chicken (NEW!)

According to the restaurant, only 100% fresh chicken is used. They are coated with a special Hae Bee Hiam recipe. It comprises of dried shrimps, fried till fragrant with belacan, shallots and other spices, and orange breadcrumbs.

Before serving, more crispy Hae Bee Hiam orange breadcrumbs are sprinkled onto the fried chicken.

Pineapple Butter Biscuit (NEW!)

Additionally, Texas Chicken has also introduced the new Pineapple Butter Biscuit. This is a special rendition of the pineapple tarts. All of the soft and fluffy biscuits are baked daily.

Yeo’s drinks distributor having warehouse sale in Yishun, drinks from S$0.25 per packet

Drinks distributor, United Achieva Distributors Pte Ltd, has recently launched a Chinese New Year Warehouse sale at its headquarters at Yishun.

Popular Hong Kong snacks stall, Joy Luck Teahouse Singapore has introduced the new 22-carat gold flakes egg tart to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year.

Each edible French gold flakes is retailing at S$6. 4-pieces is selling at S$22.80. A box of six is priced at S$28.80.

7-Eleven Singapore launches single hotpot for forever alone at S$4.80, includes mala chicken, seafood tomato and herbal chicken

7-Eleven Singapore has launched a new ready-to-eat single person hotpot. The three flavors include Mala Chicken, Seafood Tomato, and Herbal Chicken.

Preparation for the hotpot is quick and easy. Simply place the hotpot in microwave for 2.5 minutes before serving.

As the hotpots do not have long expiry dates (only few days), they need to be refrigerated and not frozen.

Mala Chicken Hotpot (S$4.80)

The special mala soup base is a unique blend of nine different spices. Ingredients includes spicy chicken, luncheon meat, corn on the cob, spinach, black fungus, lotus root, soft tofu, long cabbage and vermicelli.

Tomato Seafood Hotpot (S$4.80)

The soup base is a refreshing blend of a variety of seafood and vegetables. Ingredients includes prawns, crab sticks, clams, lotus roots, enoki mushrooms, fresh tomato segments, and vermicelli.

Herbal Chicken Hotpot (S$4.80)

The double-boiled soup base is infused with a blend of seven Chinese herbs before gently simmered for hours. The hotpot comes with Chicken thigh, spinach, black fungus, carrots, long cabbage, soft tofu, wolfberries, and vermicelli.

McDonalds Singapore Offers 1-for-1 Breakfast Deluxe, until 27 January 2021

From now (25 January 2021) till 27 January 2021, McDonald Singapore is offering a one-for-one promotion for its Breakfast Deluxe.

The meal comprises of scrambled eggs, toasty muffins, chicken sausage and hotcakes.

Old Chang Kee celebrates CNY with new hae bee hiam curry puff from S$2

Old Chang Kee has launched a new hae bee hiam, or dried prawn sambal chili curry puff this Chinese New Year.

The new hae bee hiam Chicken’O is available at all Old Chang Kee outlets from now till 28 February 2021.

According to the brand, each puff consists of hae bee hiam, chicken, and a blend of spices encased in crisp pastry.

The Hae Bee Hiam Chicken’O retails at S$2 per piece, or S$3.60 for two.
