Wear the Burger King Social Distancing Crown to enjoy 1-for-1 discounts and more

To encourage social distancing, Burger King Singapore has creatively introduced its social distancing crown. The radius of the oversized headgear is 30cm and when two people wear it, they are one meter apart from each other at all times.

Burger King lovers will be able to get their hands on the coveted crown in stores from 24 June 2020. A DIY version will also be available for fans to download and create from 22 June 2020.

As a reward for keeping the distance, those who wear the social distancing crowns at any Burger King restaurant between 25 June 2020 to 4 July 2020, from 11am onwards, will be eligible for a 1-for-1 WHOPPER deal.

Other dine-in promotions to celebrate the reopening include the Long Cheesy Trio Meal (S$6.90) and Crazier Chicken Deal (S$11.90).

NPark Singapore to give 2 free packets of seeds to all households, registration ends 30 June 2020

As Singapore aims to improve food resilience, the National Parks Board (NParks) will be giving out seed packs to households that register for them.

Inside each seed pack, there will be two packets of seeds and accompanying instruction in four languages.

The two packets of seeds will contain one type of leafy greens and one type of fruited vegetable.

The leafy options are Chinese Flowering Cabbage (Cai Xin), Chinese Kale (Kai Lan), Chinese Spinach (Bayam), Kangkong and Xiao Bai Cai.

The fruited vegetables include Brinjal, Cucumber, Lady’s Finger, Long Bean and Tomato.

These seeds take only four to eight weeks to grow and are  commonly used in local cuisines and are given at random.

KidZania Singapore to close for good after 4 years of fun

After opening its doors on the shores of Singapore 4 years ago, KidZania Singapore has been a learning playground for many children, allowing the kids to stretch their imagination through role-play activities.

On 16 June 2020, the indoor theme park  made a surprising announcement on Facebook that they will shut down their operations in Singapore.

Tuk Tuk Cha introduces new Thai-style Kway Chup

As we are not able to visit Thailand in the near future, Thai resturant, Tuk Tuk Cha has recently introduced its new Thai-style Guay Jub (Or Kway Chup) , in bid to quench our longing for the Nation of smiles.

However, this dish has been adapted to Singapore. Hence, the Thai-style Guay Jub is only available in variation of beef and chicken.

In addition, the store is also introducing its all-time-favorite Gula Melaka Pearls with Thai Milk Tea and Gula Melaka Pearls Fresh Milk, a classic favourite with a new twist of gigantic chewy Gula Melaka pearls.
