Xiaomi x Microhoo launches Mini Air-Conditioner at S$39.90

Microhoo, a company who has received funding from Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform has recently launched its Mini Air-conditioner and is retailing on Qoo10 at S$39.90.

According to the company, the personal air-conditioning fan has an adjustable fan speed between 1 to 99. At its maximum, it can reach up to 1 meter and is able to lower the surrounding temperature by 10 degree Celsius.

However, it is recommended that the unit is not turned on for more than 6 hours per day.

Portable 1-litre iced tank

The mini air-conditioner comes with a portable 1-litre tank where you can fill it with iced water or simply put it in the refrigerator.

KFC Singapore launches Mozzarella Zinger Double Down Burger and Sour Cream & Onion Fries

Shortly after launching its 10 piece chicken for S$18 promotion, KFC Singapore has now added several items to its menu from today (29 May 2020).

Mozzarella Zinger Double Down flavour (S$7.50)

The mozerella patty with tomato basil sauce is sandwiched between two sliced of Zinger Fillet. Also contains wheat, soy beans, eggs, dairy, gluten and MSG.

The Mozerella Double Down Meal, which comes with a regular pepsi and sour cream & onion fries retails at S$9.85.

Zinger Double Down (S$6.60)

Turkey bacon and sliced cheddar cheese topped with mayonnaise and served with spicy Zinger fillet. Allergens includes wheat, eggs, dairy, gluten and MSG.

Sour Cream & Onion Fries (S$3.50)

Similar to the shaker fries from the M restaurant, this KFC fries is served with sour cream & onion sprinkle. Food sensitives includes wheat, soy beans and dairy.

Mandopop Band Mayday to hold online concert on 31 May 2020, 8pm

Mayday fans who have attended their concerts know that the band always promises to visit their country the following year and they’re good at keeping their promises.

However, this May, with Covid-19 safety measures in place, the band is not able to perform in many countries.

Uniqlo to debut AIRism mask that is cool and dries quickly

Japanese clothing company, Uniqlo will start selling face mask this summer at its stores.

The face mask uses the same material used for the brand’s AIRism underwear that is said to be cool and dries quickly.

According to Chairman and CEO Tadashi Yanai, the masks will be sold through Uniqlo stores and via e-commerce.

The company also mentioned its plan to donate about 5 million face masks and protective suits to the medical institution in Japan.

Gong Cha reopens three outlets for delivery on 23 May 2020

Gong Cha has announced it will reopen three outlets to accept delivery orders via through Deliveroo, FoodPanda and GrabFood from 23 May 2020.

The stores that will reopen includes Causeway Point, Paya Lebar Quarter and NEX.

However, the bubble tea company has also mentioned takeaways are strictly not allowed.

“Much as we will like to serve you directly, in view of the current situation to protect both customers and staff, we will like everyone to enjoy your bubble-tea fix in the comfort and safety of your own homes,” said Gong Cha.
