To celebrate National Day 2020, Sentosa will be giving away two complimentary Sentosa Fun Passes to each Singapore household starting tomorrow (1 August 2020).

Each Sentosa Fun Pass comes with 10 tokens, which can be used to off-set the admission fee of attractions in the sunny island.

Popular Hong Kong Bakery Hang Heung to open its first overseas shop in ION Orchard

Popular Hong Kong bakery Hang Heung, famous for its sweetheart cake (老婆饼) will be opening its first overseas shop in Ion Orchard.

The famous Hang Heung bakery has eight outlets in Hong Kong. It’s Singapore outlet is expected to open by end August or early September this year.

In addition, the Hong Kong bakery will be taking part in the Mooncake Festival pop-up kiosk at Raffles City from 24 Aug 2020, offering a 15%  early bird mooncake discount.

Cathay Cineplexes to offer 1-for-1 weekend movie tickets for the entire month of August

Cathay Cineplexes box offices will be offering movie-goers 1-for-1 movie tickets (~S$13) every weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) for the entire month of August.

This promotion is available for the first 800 redemptions every weekend and must be purchased with PAssion POSB Debit Card. The 1-for-1 movie tickets must also be for the same movie and show date and time.

In addition, this promotion is not valid for online bookings and not valid for 3D movies, Tamil/Hindi films and movies screened at the Platinum Movie Suites and other discounts.

Downtown East Carpark to be converted into Drive-In Cinema, airing The Greatest Showman

On 8 August 2020, the open-air Begonia carpark (Pasir Ris) will be converted into a drive-in cinema from 7.30pm.

Admission is charged by per car of 5 pax. Each admission pass is S$20.80. The price of admission includes two burgers and drinks from Ministry Of Burgers. The food and beverages would also be served by waiters on rollerskates.

In addition, the movie’s audio will be played through your car via a dedicated radio channel.
