Universal Studio Singapore Offering Singapore residents One-day adult admission pass at S$59, comes with FREE LiHO drink

Universal Studio Singapore has partnered with Mastercard to offer its one-day adult admission pass at SGD$59 (UP: S$75) to Singapore residents.

This admission pass allows for early entry into the park from 12PM – 2PM and early access to F&B outlets.

Do note the amusement rides will only commence at 2PM and all meet-and-greet are cancelled due to Covid-19 safety measures.

This promotion is valid till 31 August 2020 and ID is required for entry to enjoy the promotion.

Editor note: Due to Covid-19, Universal Studios Singapore is now open every Thursday through Sunday from 2PM – 9PM. 

Free LiHo Drink

In addition, this admission pass comes with a complimentary LiHo drink which can be used to redeem for the Sentosa LiHo outlet exclusive drink – Singapore Swirl or Singapore Tea Sling.

Redemption can be made at the LiHo outlet at Beach Station or Resorts World Sentosa.

Downtown East cancels Drive-in Movie Screening on 8 August 2020

Downtown East has cancelled its inaugural, sold-out,  drive-in movie screening on 8 August 2020.

The organizer has apologized for the cancellation and the event was cancelled “due to unforeseen circumstances”.

Downtown East have also said they will be in touch with guests who have purchased the tickets for the drive-in movie screening on matters of refund. In addition, guests also receives S$20 Downtown East voucher.

Swee Choon celebrates National Day 2020 with Chilli Crab Lava Bun at 3 for S$8

From today (3 August 2020), Singapore dimsum restaurant, Swee Choon will be launching two seasonal items to celebrate National Day 2020.

Lava Bun with Chilli Crab Filling

These buns resembles the fried buns that normally come with chili crab dishes. This time, the chilli crab filling is already incorporated within the bun.

The Lava Bun with Chilli Crab Filling comes in a set of three for S$8.

Mee Suah Kueh with Chilli Crab Sauce

The second item is made with stir-fried wheat vermicelli, dried shrimps, and Chinese sausage.

It is then deep fried and topped with a sweet and spicy chilli crab paste, consisting of freshly-peeled crab meat and other condiments.

Two servings retail at S$5.

Local cookie store celebrates National Day with S$3.20 Milo soft-serve & S$5.50 Milo Cookies

For the entire month of August, local cookie store Nasty Cookie, which sells New York-style cookies will be bringing back its Milo soft-serve ice-cream and a newly launch Milo Stylo cookie.

The Milo soft serve was first launched last year to celebrate National Day.

Milo Stylo Cookies (S$5.50)

The newly-launched Milo Stylo cookie is crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. It is made using malted chocolate cookie dough based with Cadbury’s caramelised white chocolate, and topped with chocolate crunch.
