New Facebook Cafe giving away free emoji pancakes and coffee next week

After its inception in the UK and pop-ups all over the world, the Facebook Cafe will finally be here in Singapore next week from 22 to 24 November 2019.

The Facebook Cafe is opened to all and members of the public can find out tips on protecting their personal information online.

In addition, the folks from Facebook Singapore will also be giving away free Emoji pancakes and coffee by the Five Oars Coffee Roasters upon completion of a short quiz about online security on Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp.

McDonalds Singapore to sell limited edition Hello Kitty holders from tomorrow

After waves of new items and promotions, McDonald’s Singapore is doing it again. This time, they will be introducing the Hello Kitty Carrier tomorrow (14 November 2019).

Each Hello Kitty carrier retails at S$7.90 with purchase of any extra value meal or doubles feast. Customers can purchase a maximum of two carriers per transaction.

These holders will be sold exclusively in-store through self-ordering kiosks or counter. This promotion is available at all outlets except McDonald’s Tampines Shell, McDonald’s Hougang Shell and McDonald’s Tampines Kiosk.

The Fried Chicken Skin from KFC is hand-breaded and coated with KFC’s signature flour before being fried to golden brown perfection.

This crispy snack will be retailing at S$3.50 and diners can add-on a glass of Pepsi Black for S$1.

Marina Bay New Year Countdown has Singapore’s largest drone show, food village and more

This year, the Marina Bay Countdown 2019, which is happening on 31 December 2019 at the Float @ Marina Bay offers party-goers a carnival experience with a food village, family-friendly entertainment zone, roving art performances and live DJ music.

Perhaps the highlight of the countdown event is the drone show.

Centered around a new story, 2019: A Space Odyssey, visitors watching this show gets to witness 500 drones which are completely synchronized with the multi-sensory fireworks, lights display and 3D sound.

The organizer hopes the “visitors will feel like they are entering an out-of-this-world imaginary galaxy through a thrilling space adventure”.

The fireworks for this year’s edition are specially designed by skilled Japanese fireworks artisans using traditional techniques rooted in over 160 years of history.

Doors to the countdown carnival will open at 5pm. The main show will start at about 10.40pm.

Uncle Ringo brings Great Circus of Europe to Singapore for the first time

Singapore’s beloved carnival ride company, Uncle Ringo, will be bringing in the Great Circus of Europe to Singapore for the first time.

The 90 minutes performance will showcase international circus acts such as dancers trapezing through the air, performers riding on a fine line while on a motorbike and more.

The circus performers come from eight different countries including Romania, Kazakhstan, the United Kingdom, Kenya, Columbia and Mexico.

The stall, which sells only 5 types burgers has been in operations for 5 years.

Besides making their burger patties fresh from scratch, the buns are also deep-fried. The fillings are also made of ingredients with a unique Singapore taste.
