Chinese New Year is around the corner and Bakkwa shops around Singapore has been upping their game with most recent Li Chee Guan selling its Bakkwa online.

However, Bee Cheng Hiang Grillery seems to have another offering instead of the tradition Bakkwa.

According to it’s website, Bee Cheng Hiang Grillery has been selling a rather unique gelato flavor: Bakkwa Vanilla Gelato.

Long John Silvers has launched a new festive menu featuring mala versions of its Salmon, Dory and Chicken.

According to Long John Silvers, the fried food are coated in spicy batter before the tongue-numbing Mala sauce, cayenne peppers and shredded parsley are added.

From today (11 January 2021) till 13 January 2021, McDonalds Singapore is offering a 1-for-1 promotion for Double Filet-O-Fish.

This promotion is available at all McDonalds Singapore restaurants except NTU, Polytechnics and delivery.

Violet Onn Singapore, known for its Peranakan cuisine, has recently launched several new plant-based and gluten-free dishes.

The new menu consists of 20 dishes, including starters, mains and desserts.

Kunyit Lemak King Oyster Mushroom S$24

This vegan and gluten-free dish  features smoky, full-bodied flavours of meaty King Oyster Mushroom and the earthiness of a turmeric-infused coconut sauce.

Garam Assam Tau Kwa with Pineapple and Pink Ginger Flower (S$20)

This is a vegan alternative to the popular Garam Assam Barramundi. The dish features flame-grilled tau kwa garnished with diced pineapples that is perfumed with julienned ginger flower.

Jagung Bakar Pedas Manis (S$18)

This is one of the spiciest newcomers. The dish features chargrilled corn on the cob coated in a fiery sauce with a hint of sweetness that is lightly tempered by a topping of feta cheese.
