Sentosa transforms its beach with magnificient light display, looks like a scene out of Avatar

The Siloso Beach at Sentosa is looking relatively different recently with its brand new multi-sensory display of lights, music and sound.

The display, titled as Magical Shores, features light projection and sound that are interactive to the guest’s movement.

Here’s a video of how it looks like:

Admission to Magical Shores is free every night from 7.30pm to 10.30pm.

However, due to Covid-19 safety measures, guests are required to book a slot for sessions on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, eve and Public Holidays.

Up to 8 persons may attend each session. There are two sessions per day to choose from:

  • Session 1: 7.30pm – 8.45pm
  • Session 2: 9pm – 10.15pm

The sessions are available for booking 5 days in advance (From midnight of each day). Email confirmation is required to be allowed entry.

F1-inspired pop-up indoor karting circuit opens at Resorts World Sentosa tomorrow, 2 April 2021

From tomorrow (2 April 2021), racing fans will be able to experience a brand new pop-up, indoor karting circuit at the Resorts World Sentosa.

The indoor karting circuit, Circuit Tiki, is located in RWS Carpark East (basement). It is 550 metres and is equipped with a Pit Lane and 23 challenging corners for races to overcome.

Here’s an overview of how the circuit looks like:

Tickets at the counter are priced at S$28 for novice (25km/hr) and S$35 for advanced (40km/hr). RWS Members gets to enjoy discounted rates at S$18 and S$25 respectively. Pre-booking is available via email at rws@kf1karting.com or 62520777.

Online Leslie Cheung Concert happening tomorrow on 1 Apr, performed by Karen Mok, Hacken Lee, Samuel Hui and more

A virtual concert will be held tomorrow (1 April 2021) to commemorate Leslie Cheung’s 18th death anniversary.

Titled “Missing You, Leslie Cheung Online Concert 2021”, the event will feature Hong Kong singers performing Cheung’s classic songs.

The lineup of artiste are as follows:

  • Samuel Hui 许冠杰
  • Karen Mok 莫文蔚
  • Hacken Lee 李克勤
  • Julian Cheung 張智霖
  • Metro Vocal Group
  • HKBU Symphony Orchestra.

Sentosa extends free entry to Sentosa to 30 September 2021

Sentosa has announced they will be extending free entry to Sentosa till 30 September 2021.

During this period, visitors can enter Sentosa via Sentosa Express at Vivocity or drive in for free.

Sentosa Express

The Sentosa Express is a monorail service located at level three of Vivocity. During this period, guests simply have to tap the EZ-Link Card to enter for free. Guests without EZ-Link card can approach the service ambassador for free entry.

Driving In

All vehicles, except for motocycle, with locally registered IU can drive in for free. For non-locally registered IU, drivers would need to tap or insert the Autopass Card on the card reader at the booth to enjoy the free entry.
