One Fullerton JING Seafood Restaurant Offers Dim Sum and Zi Char buffet at S$29.50 nett

From now till 31 January 2021, the JING Seafood Restaurant at One Fullerton is offering an all-you-can-eat ala carte dimsum and zichar buffet.

The buffet costs S$29.50 nett for adults and S$14 nett for children aged 4 to 10 years old. However, this promotion is only valid for a minimum of two adults.

The menu offers appetizers, signature and 12 dimsum items and over 30 buffet menu items to choose from.

Singapore Airline launches CNY menu from S$288, featuring Prosperity Yusheng with Oscietra caviar

From now till 28 February 2021, SIA is offering its festive First and Business Class menu for the upcoming Chinese New Year.

The menu is designed by SIA’s International Culinary Panel Chef Zhu Jun.

Customers can order the meals online via KrisShop.com. Confirmation with the cabin crew concierge must be made three days before the preferred date of delivery.

CNY Business Class for two (From S$288)

This is a six-course Business Class meal for two comprising of appetizers, main courses, and desserts.

No dragon or lion dance performance at heartland area for this year’s Chinese New Year

The Singapore Wushu Dragon and Lion Dance Federation has announced stricter measures to cope with the spread of Covid-19.

This includes a cap in the number of performers at eight. Hence, dragon dance will not be permitted as they usually require more performers.

In addition, all performers must wear mask, except for those controlling the head and tail of the lion.

Performances adhering to social distancing rules can continue in offices, factories, hotels, temples and shops in mega shopping centres. However, performances are not allowed at residences, food centers and  markets.

According to the Federation, this ban is to prevent crowds from congregating in public space.

Troupes interested to perform this year has to complete more paperwork. This includes submitting daily schedules to the police through the Federation. However, the cai qing permit for 16 days now costs only S$50, down from S$150 last year (exclusive of GST).

Skechers Singapore has launched the popular superhero manga and anime One Punch Man collection today (18 January 2021). The Collection features four new styles of sneakers, hoodies and pullover.

One Punch Man Sneakers (S$159)

There are four designs to choose from. These sneakers feature wavy line paneling and a thick sole base for street style look.

According to Skechers Singapore, the shoes also come with an air-cooled memory foam cushioned insole to provide breath-ability and comfort. Each design is inspired by an iconic character from the anime.

One Punch Man Hoodies (S$99)

In addition, the collection also features four hoodie designs and a pullover. Each apparel features designs of four anime characters.

“Hawker Hunk” opens new fruit juice stall at V Hotel Lavender, giving free fruit juice

The hawker hunk that previously made headline for helping out his parent’s carrot cake stall has recently opened a new fruit juice stall at V Hotel Lavender.

The fruit juice stall, Jus Juice it, offers fresh fruit juice from S$3. In addition, a topping of bite-sized fresh fruits can be added from S$1.00 depending on the types of fruits chosen.

Public campsites & BBQ Pits to reopen on 20 January 2021, maximum 6 pax per tent

National Parks Board (NParks) has announced all campsites (including Pulau Ubin) and BBQ pits in parks will reopen from 20 January 2021.

However, due to safe distancing measures, the group size at a BBQ pit can not exceed eight people and all BBQ activities must end by 10.30pm.

In addition, tents should maintain a five-metre safety distance and each tent can only accommodate a maximum of six campers.

LiHO Singapore brings back seasonal Korean strawberry beverage series for a limited time

For a limited time only, LiHO TEA is bringing back its seasonal strawberry beverages. The drinks will feature the sweet Korean Seolhyang strawberry.

As part of the launch, LiHO is introducing one new and two returning flavors:

K-Strawberry CheeZHO Cake (New)

The K-Strawberry CheezHO Cake includes LiHO’s signature cheese foam, fresh milk, strawberries, white pearls and tea jelly. In addition, the drink is topped with chocolate sauce

According to LiHO, the drink is supposed to mimic the texture of a velvety cheesecake. It comes in two sizes: Medium (S$7.50) and large (S$8.50).

K-Strawberry Latte

This drink is a refreshing blend of crushed whole strawberries and cold fresh milk. It is available in two sizes: Medium (S$7.10) and large (S$8.10). It can also be served as a hot drink for S$7.10.

K-Strawberry Jing Syuan

This creamy and flowery drink is a combination of strawberries and LiHO’s Jing Syuan Tea. The medium sized drink retails at S$7.10 while large is available at S$8.10. It can be also served as a hot drink at S$7.10.
