LiHo launches islandwide delivery, free delivery for orders above S$45

Hot on its heels after launching its DIY bubble tea kit last week, bubble tea chain, LiHO has now launched a new Boss Happy Home Delivery website that delivers its bubble tea island-wide.

Besides the much loved drinks, the order site also carry brands like Nene Chicken, Woo Ricebox, Paik’s Bibim, Tino Pizza and more.

There is however a minimum purchase of S$30 with an additional delivery fee of S$5. Free delivery is available with a minimum order of S$45.

Singapore to singalong at windows & balconies on 25 April 2020, 7.55pm

On 30 March 2020, Singaporeans gathered at their windows and balconies to clap for the front-line workers for the sacrifices and bravery.

As part of a ground up initiative, the nation is inviting residents of Singapore to sing together during this extended circuit breaker from the comfort of their house on 25 April 2020 at 7.55PM.

The song we are singing to is National Day’s favourite – Home. The original composer of this song, Dick Lee, has also rearranged the music of this song and this new rendition will be aired on TV at the same time.

Families are also encouraged to wave torchlights from their windows and balconies.

In addition, the organizers are also inviting families to upload their singalong moments to their social media.

The official hashtags are: #singtogetherSG, #SingaporeTogether and #stayhomeforSG.

There will be a second music video featuring these footages on the same Saturday at 10.30pm.

LiHo launches limited DIY Bubble Tea Kit for 15 from S$48

Fans of LiHo bubble tea rejoices! The company has launched its DIY Bubble tea kit which allows you to make your own drink.

Currently exclusively sold online at its Shopee store, the DIY kits are restocked everyday at 12PM.

Currently, there are two DIY kits available. They are the Milk Tea and Black Tea Oat Latte with golden pearl DIY kit. Each DIY kit can make 15 to 20 cups of bubble tea.

The Milk Tea DIY Kit is currently retailing at S$69 (Flash Deal Price: S$48) while the Black Tea Oat Latte is priced at S$118 (Flash Deal Price: S$85).

Elusive Lyrid Meteor Shower to rain past Singapore skies tonight, possibly up to 18 meteors an hour

The Lyrids Meteor Shower, one of the oldest meteor showers known to man, will be passing by the skies of Singapore tonight (22 April 2020) and tomorrow (23 April 2020).

According to astrology website, Science Centre OBservatory, the meteor shower is predicted to peak between 2.30am to 6am, SGT. At its peak, it’s expected to have 10 to 15 meteors an hour and could possibly reach up to 18.

However, due to the light pollution of Singapore’s night sky, it might be difficult to observe the meteor shower.
